Atlas Copco is seeking a Service Technician in Switzerland to perform maintenance, repairs, and commissioning of compressors. You will travel to customer sites in your assigned region, supporting on-call duties and delivering expert service.

You should hold a technical vocational qualification and a valid category B license, with strong German language skills (C1/C2). The role offers flexible arrangements and opportunities for part-time work, with local and international career development

Your Role

As a Service Technician, you will perform maintenance, repairs, and commissioning of compressors.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Performing maintenance and servicing work on industrial compressors and related equipment
• Carrying out repairs, overhauls, and refurbishments
• Commissioning new machines
• Participating in the on-call service organization (scheduled standby duty)
• Identifying additional customer needs and advising on suitable service solutions, consumables, and requirements for new equipment
• Documenting customer observations and forwarding relevant information to the appropriate departments

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need

• A technical vocational qualification (e.g., Polymechanic, Mechatronics Technician, Automation Technician, or similar)
• A valid Category B driving license for operating the service vehicle
• Confidence in using digital service and reporting tools, as well as standard Microsoft Office applications
• Ideally, experience in a repair environment and customer service
• Electrical knowledge is an advantage
• Very good knowledge in German (C1/C2)
• An open-minded, solution-oriented personality with a strong understanding of customer needs

Location

You will start your working day directly from home and travel to customer sites within your assigned region (Eastern Switzerland).
