Atlas Copco is seeking a Service Technician in Switzerland (Lucerne region) to perform maintenance, repairs and commissioning on industrial compressors. The role involves on-call standby, identifying customer needs and advising on service solutions, with travel to customer sites from home within the assigned region.

The ideal candidate has a technical vocational qualification, a Category B driving licence, German language skills (C1/C2) and experience in repair environments with customer

Qualifications

• German language skills at C1/C2 level.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Experience in repair environments and customer service is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital service tools.
• Electrical knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong customer-oriented problem-solving mindset.

Responsabilités

• Maintenance and servicing of industrial compressors and accessories.
• Performing repairs, overhauls, and refurbishments.
• Commissioning new machines.
• Participating in the on-call service organization (scheduled standby duty).
• Identifying additional customer needs and advising on suitable service solutions, consumables, and requirements for new equipment.
• Documenting customer observations and forwarding relevant information to the appropriate departments.

Your Role

As a Service Technician, you will carry out maintenance, repair, and commissioning work on compressors.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Maintenance and servicing of industrial compressors and accessories
• Performing repairs, overhauls, and refurbishments
• Commissioning new machines
• Participating in the on-call service organization (scheduled standby duty)
• Identifying additional customer needs and advising on suitable service solutions, consumables, and requirements for new equipment
• Documenting customer observations and forwarding relevant information to the appropriate departments

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need

• A technical vocational qualification (e.g., Polymechanic, Mechatronics Technician, Automation Technician, or similar)
• A valid Category B driving license for operating the service vehicle
• Confidence in using digital service and reporting tools, as well as standard Microsoft Office applications
• Ideally, experience in a repair environment and customer service
• Electrical knowledge is an advantage
• Very good knowledge in German (C1/C2)
• An open-minded, solution-oriented personality with a strong understanding of customer needs
