Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a Service Technician to maintain, repair, and commission industrial compressors across customer sites in Switzerland. You will start from home and travel within your region, with on-call standby duties and a focus on addressing customer needs and delivering reliable service.

The role requires a technical vocational qualification, a valid Category B license, and strong German language skills (C1/C2). Flexible work arrangements and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Technical vocational qualification required or equivalent (e.g., Polymechanic, Mechatronics Technician, Automation Technician).
• Valid Category B driving license for service vehicle.
• Proficiency with digital service and reporting tools and MS Office.
• Experience in repair environment and customer service is preferred.
• Electrical knowledge is advantageous.
• Excellent German language skills (C1/C2).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and servicing of compressors and accessories.
• Performing repairs, overhauls, and refurbishments.
• Commissioning of new machines.
• Participation in on-call service (scheduled standby).
• Identify additional customer needs and advise on service solutions and consumables.
• Document observations and relay information to relevant departments.
