Job summary

Tether seeks a Senior Technical Product Manager for Keet, a peer-to-peer messaging app built on Holepunch's stack. You will own the product vision, drive the strategy to reach 1 billion users, and lead rapid AI prototyping to validate concepts in days, not months.

You will coordinate with engineering, design, and leadership to ship features, oversee mobile and desktop releases, and ensure a privacy‑preserving, high‑quality user experience across platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience with consumer products
• Strong product sense with vision and measurable outcomes at scale
• Experience leading engineers and cross-functional teams
• Deep JavaScript and React skills; can read/write production code
• Intuition for distributed/local-first systems and offline behavior
• Hands-on experience shipping mobile apps on iOS/Android; App Store/Play Store fluency
• Experience with real-time voice/video calling products and associated trade-offs
• Ability to rapidly prototype using AI tools and prototype concepts quickly
• Exceptional written and spoken English
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and communicate with boards/executives

Responsibilities

• Own the long-term product vision for Keet with a path to 1B users
• Analyze competitors to identify P2P advantages and build roadmaps
• Present vision, strategy, metrics and progress to the board and executives
• Define growth strategy with measurable targets for acquisition, activation, retention, and virality
• Develop deep understanding of Holepunch P2P stack and translate capabilities into product decisions
• Partner with engineering on hard P2P problems at scale (NAT traversal, offline sync, multi-device)
• Own real-time calling experience (1:1 and group) with high quality comparable to Meet/Zoom
• Define feature tiers with explicit stable vs experimental labels
• Use AI tools to prototype and demonstrate concepts quickly
• Lead product team, manage sprint cadence, roadmaps and cross-functional dependencies
• Own mobile and desktop release processes, app store/distribution
• Provide transparent updates on status, risks, and timelines
