Job summary

Tether is seeking a P2P Node.js Engineer (Remote) to expand and strengthen core P2P networking and storage primitives. The role focuses on high-performance networking, cryptographic security, and efficient serialization across distributed systems.

You will work with a globally distributed team, leveraging Node.js, libuv, and C addons to deliver scalable, low-latency solutions for a diverse fintech ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in P2P networking and related protocols.
• Experience optimizing network protocols for latency and throughput.
• Strong JavaScript skills for high-performance networking code.
• Solid understanding of UDP/TCP/IP and NAT traversal.
• Experience implementing custom binary protocols and serialization.
• Knowledge of cryptographic primitives for secure P2P communication.
• Demonstrated ability to profile and optimize distributed systems.
