Job summary

EY in Zurich seeks a Senior Consultant to take ownership of Swiss fund tax reporting engagements. You will analyze complex fund structures, deliver investor tax figures per SFTA/ESTV, and support junior colleagues while contributing to the growth of the EW FS Tax practice.

You will interact with clients and cross-border teams, drive process improvements, and develop fund tax expertise in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in law, economics, business administration, finance or comparable field.
• 3-5 years of taxation experience, ideally in Big4, asset manager, fund administration or tax advisory.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills; MS Excel proficiency; data analytics or automation is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex tax/regulatory requirements into practical client solutions.
• Full professional English; German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing Swiss income tax figures for investment funds (including Swiss taxable income per unit).
• Coordinating with EY partner offices, clients and fund administrators to obtain, validate and reconcile data for tax reporting.
• Managing end-to-end reporting process: planning timelines, deadlines, and on-time client/SFTA delivery.
• Acting as a trusted client contact for Swiss fund tax reporting matters.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and automation of reporting processes and tools.
