Luxoft in Switzerland is seeking a System Test Engineer to contribute to system level testing and assist the product release decision process.

You will mainly perform manual testing with automation tasks, validate software baselines, and provide quality verdicts on deliverables. The role requires ISTQB Advanced, 5+ years of testing, strong debugging skills, and proficiency in Python, Selenium, Linux, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology.
• ISTQB certified (advanced level).
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Tester in a complex software development organization.
• Strong debugging and analytic skills with experience in defect analysis and bug fixing.
• Very good knowledge and experience in Python, Selenium and Linux.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation across products.
• Experience working with Jira, Bitbucket, Git and Polarion.

Aufgaben

• Perform mostly manual testing with automation components.
• Execute regression testing on software baseline.
• Provide quality verdict on delivered software; accept/reject deliverables.
• Run alpha tests for new software packages and report issues.
• Write test reports and submit issue tickets.
• Improve processes and tooling where necessary.
• Ensure test systems are in good state and diagnose issues.
