Zusammenfassung

Luxoft in Switzerland is seeking a QA Engineer to define, implement, and maintain automated and manual tests for our automotive connected services project. You will collaborate with QA and development teams to ensure end-to-end system quality and reliability.

You will design test scripts, triage results, and push for high quality standards across REST APIs, UI/HMI, and CI/CD pipelines. A strong background in Java, OOP, and Scrum helps you thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in CS, EE, or EC Engineering.
• Clear understanding of Scrum methodology.
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience programming in Java (3+ years).
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Software Version Control experience (Git).
• Familiarity with software design principles, including SOLID principles.
• Experience with REST API Testing (manual or automated).
• Experience performing functional testing and documenting defect lifecycle.

Aufgaben

• Define, implement, and maintain automated test suites for the new and modified functionality.
• Work with QA and functional/development teams to understand end-to-end system functionality.
• Solve complex automation challenges and work on complex projects with minimal supervision.
• Set and review script quality standards and practices.
• Perform automated test demos and walk through the test scripts with other team members.
• Perform automated tests, triage test results and communicate outcomes.
• Identify potential quality issues per process and escalate to management.
• Assist with non-functional testing (performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility).
