Zusammenfassung

SGI in Basel invites an experienced Test Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated tests for a trade management/financial systems context.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD, collaborate with analysts, and mentor team members while enhancing test coverage for trade capture, settlement, risk reporting, and compliance. This role is based in Switzerland with relocation support where needed, and offers a 12-month contract.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in test automation for complex systems.
• Experience designing and implementing automated tests.
• Experience with API testing and CI/CD integration.

Aufgaben

• Review existing test cases to identify automation opportunities.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for functional/integration/regression testing.
• Collaborate with analysts to cover trade processes across capture, settlement, risk, and reporting.
• Develop scalable test automation frameworks aligned with industry best practices.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Monitor results, identify defects, and coordinate resolution with the team.
• Document test plans, cases, and results with traceability to requirements.
• Provide guidance to teammates on test automation practices.
• Contribute to overall testing strategy and alignment with goals.
