The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and extensive hands‑on experience with precision mechanisms, 3D CAD drawings and engineering documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnology or a related field.
• Senior-level experience in development, manufacture, assembly, integration and testing of precision mechanisms.
• Proven experience with 3D CAD and production of high-quality technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience in supplier and subcontractor coordination, including technical specifications and non-conformances.

Aufgaben

• Design precision mechanisms, mechanical structures and interfaces with 3D models and drawings.
• Prepare procurement specifications and coordinate suppliers.
• Own mechanical work packages from concept to manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing.
• Prepare and execute assembly, integration and testing in cleanroom or contamination-sensitive environments.
• Conduct performance and environmental test campaigns on-site and off-site.
• Contribute to risk analyses, design reviews and failure investigations.
• Collaborate with systems, optics, electronics, thermal, analysis and testing teams.
• Contribute to customer and partner exchanges, technical reviews and project documentation.
