Harmattan AI seeks an experienced Simulation/Mechanical Analysis Engineer for its Airframe team. You will replace trial-and-error with predictive models, analyzing carbon/plastic/aluminium assemblies to pinpoint critical zones and guide design changes before build and flight.

This role includes building tools, templates, and methodologies that enable the team to run first-order modal/structural checks autonomously, with hands-on design work to validate recommendations.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in FEA with emphasis on modal, vibration, and dynamic analysis.
• Solid grounding in structural dynamics and vibration theory.

Aufgaben

• Perform modal (eigenfrequency) and harmonic/random vibration analyses on multiple materials to identify natural frequencies and resonance risks.
• Run dynamic/explicit simulations for crash/shock/impact events to predict deformation and guide design changes.
• Conduct static, stiffness, fatigue and failure analyses to support design decisions.
• Develop reusable tools and templates for first-order structural checks and document methodology.
