Zusammenfassung

Roche seeks a Senior / Principal Scientist in Discovery Oncology to lead target identification and cross-functional portfolio projects in cancer research. You will design and interpret preclinical strategies, coordinate teams across oncology discovery, and translate basic science into therapeutic opportunities.

Industry experience and strong collaboration are essential. You will work within a collaborative scientific environment focused on translating research into clinically meaningful cancer

Qualifikationen

PhD or MD/PhD in Molecular or Cellular Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology (or a comparable biological science) with 6+ years of relevant postdoctoral experience.
Industry experience is preferred.
Experience in cancer drug discovery / translational research and targeting molecular pathways using diverse modalities is required.

Aufgaben

Lead internal target identification initiatives and exploratory activities from ideation to nomination.
Coordinate cross-functional portfolio projects as a matrix leader.
Design, execute and analyze experimental strategies and present results to project leaders and stakeholders.
Collaborate across oncology discovery units to integrate complex data sets for target validation and MoA understanding.
