Zusammenfassung

DECTRIS Ltd. in Switzerland seeks a technically oriented business development professional to translate scientific needs into tailored solutions. You will lead trials and onboarding, ensuring scientists see value quickly and become confident users of our HPC detectors and software ecosystem.

You will design proofs-of-value, run workshops, and travel internationally up to 50% to engage laboratories and researchers, while crafting demos and tooling with AI to accelerate evaluations.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in business development, sales/solutions engineering, or a comparable customer-facing technical role.
• Strong domain expertise in materials science and/or structural biology.
• Strong, fast coding ability to build tooling, scripts, and demos quickly and cleanly.
• A deep drive to understand customers' science and problems.
• Excellent English and willingness to travel internationally up to ~50%.
• Experience applying AI in scientific or product contexts.
• Experience running trials, proofs-of-concept, or technical onboarding.

Aufgaben

• Own time-to-value for prospective customers from discovery through onboarding.
• Lead technical discovery on customers' science, instruments, and workflows.
• Design and run trials and proof-of-value engagements on customer data and problems.
• Run workshops and hands-on sessions that convert evaluators into successful users.
• Travel to customer sites to work where the science happens.
• Use AI and coding to build demos, scripts, and tooling that shorten every trial.
• Feed field insight back into product and science to sharpen offerings.
