Job summary

Keyrock is seeking a Senior Rust Engineer with deep trading systems experience and strong AWS knowledge to join our core Capital Markets division. Qualifications

• Production-grade Rust experience building high‑performance, concurrent systems; Tokio is a strong advantage.
• Hands‑on experience in a systematic trading environment (HFT, Market Making, Quantitative Trading, or similar) with understanding of execution, market data, and risk.
• Strong AWS and Linux expertise, including cloud infrastructure trade-offs for latency‑sensitive workloads, shell scripting, debugging, and production troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for strategy development, automation, and tooling.
• Deep familiarity with trading system protocols (FIX, REST, WebSocket), exchange connectivity, and market data feeds.
• Solid grasp of low‑latency networking: TCP/UDP, latency path analysis, dedicated infrastructure, and kernel bypass (DPDK).
• Familiarity with agentic engineering tools: LLMs, MCP APIs, AI‑First IDEs, automation.
• Ability to make sound architectural decisions and guide implementations across complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise low-latency, mission‑critical trading systems.
• Own key trading stack components end‑to‑end—from architecture to production operation.
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and engineers to improve performance and resilience.
• Maintain and evolve trading infrastructure focusing on performance, stability, observability, and operability.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across exchange connectivity, execution, and market data handling.
• Drive engineering standards through leadership, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Embrace agentic engineering: AI‑assisted workflows and automation of tasks.
• Contribute to testing for functional and production readiness of critical components.
