Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Switzerland is seeking a Senior QA Chapter Lead to shape testing standards and automation across multiple squads. You’ll be embedded in one squad with hands-on testing while driving QA strategy, tooling, and quality practices across the wider engineering function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional software QA with lead experience.
• Experience defining test strategy across multiple squads.
• Strong automation engineering skills for production CI environments.
• Deep API testing experience including REST and contract testing.

Responsibilities

• Embed within one engineering squad and participate in agile ceremonies.
• Define acceptance criteria with Product Owners for each sprint.
• Design and maintain automated test suites at unit/integration/end-to-end levels.
• Own the squad’s Definition of Done and quality gates for releases.
• Define QA standards across engineering, including tooling and coverage thresholds.
• Lead QA onboarding and a monthly QA Guild with the Chapter Lead.
