Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a senior Python & Flowable engineer to join a globally distributed Wealth Management AI Factory team. Design and implement production-grade automation using Flowable BPMN/CMMN/DMN with Python, FastAPI/Flask and AI services. Ensure reliability, security and compliance in a regulated bank environment.

Lead architecture discussions, mentor engineers and deliver end-to-end automations across DEV/UAT/PROD while collaborating with business analysts and data scientists.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with strong recent hands-on Python.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Flowable (or Activiti / Camunda).
• Strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0; practical DMN and CMMN experience.
• Proven experience designing REST APIs and service integrations (FastAPI, Flask or similar).
• Experience integrating AI/ML or LLM-based services into business applications.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and Docker.
• Working knowledge of Java / Spring Boot to extend Flowable platform.
• Track record in a globally distributed Agile team in a senior or lead capacity.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Design and build process automation that combines Flowable workflows with Python AI services.
• Develop Python services and APIs for Flowable calls and AI/ML integrations.
• Integrate workflows with internal/external systems via REST APIs and messaging.
• Turn business use cases into technical designs with analysts and data scientists.
• Ensure AI-enabled processes are auditable, traceable and compliant with security rules.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Support deployment and operation across DEV/UAT/PROD using CI/CD.
