Luxoft is seeking a senior Python & Flowable engineer to join a globally distributed Wealth Management AI Factory team. Design and implement production-grade automation using Flowable BPMN/CMMN/DMN with Python, FastAPI/Flask and AI services. Ensure reliability, security and compliance in a regulated bank environment.

Lead architecture discussions, mentor engineers and deliver end-to-end automations across DEV/UAT/PROD while collaborating with business analysts and data scientists.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of software development experience with strong recent hands-on Python.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Flowable (or Activiti / Camunda).
• Strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0; practical DMN and CMMN experience.
• Proven experience designing REST APIs and service integrations (FastAPI, Flask or similar).
• Experience integrating AI/ML or LLM-based services into business applications.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and Docker.
• Working knowledge of Java / Spring Boot to extend Flowable platform.
• Track record in a globally distributed Agile team in a senior or lead capacity.
• Good spoken and written English.

Project description

You will join a globally distributed team in the Wealth Management area of a leading global bank, working in the AI Factory stream. The stream turns AI use cases into production-grade solutions that automate and improve business processes across the organisation. The team combines workflow orchestration on the Flowable platform with Python-based AI and data services. This lets processes such as client servicing, document handling, approvals and operational workflows be partly or fully automated, with human-in-the-loop control where needed. Everything runs in a highly regulated environment, so reliability, auditability, security and compliance are key. We are looking for a senior Python & Flowable Engineer who wants to bring AI capabilities into real business processes and help shape the technical direction of the stream.

Responsibilities

• Design and build process automation solutions that combine Flowable workflows with Python-based AI and data servicesModel processes, cases and decisions using BPMN 2.0, CMMN and DMN, including human-in-the-loop review stepsDevelop Python services and APIs (e.g. FastAPI/Flask) that Flowable processes call, including integration with AI/ML and LLM servicesIntegrate workflows with internal and external systems through REST APIs and messagingTurn business use cases into technical designs together with business analysts, data scientists and stakeholdersMake sure AI-enabled processes are traceable, auditable and compliant with the bank's security and risk requirementsWrite unit and integration tests, take part in code reviews and promote engineering best practicesSupport deployment and operation of solutions across environments (DEV/UAT/PROD) using CI/CDTroubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause resolutionAct as a technical expert in the team, guide less experienced engineers and contribute to solution architecture decisions
