Job summary

green.ch AG invites an experienced project controller to lead the controlling of data center projects and campuses. You will ensure precise financial management, deliver reports to executives and investors, and collaborate with construction teams to optimize budgets and costs.

You'll shape the project Controlling team, implement automation, and drive innovative processes while acting as a trusted finance advisor to management on major decisions.

Qualifications

• Solid business management education, ideally with a Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
• At least five years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience in functional or line management of employees is an advantage.
• Analytical mindset with a strong affinity for numbers and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
• Strong communication skills, assertive personality, delivery-focused, and leadership potential.
• Knowledge of Abacus and BI tools is an advantage.
• Proficiency in German and English at C1 level or above.
• Only direct applications from candidates already residing in Switzerland with a valid Swiss work permit will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Preparing project reports for internal stakeholders, senior management, investors, and banks.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cost control across all construction phases in close collaboration with the Construction department.
• Developing the project controlling team and optimizing methods, systems, and tools with a strong focus on automation and efficiency.
• Leading cross-functional projects within the controlling environment to drive innovative solutions and processes.
• Acting as a sparring partner for management on all finance-related project matters to support informed decision‑making.
