Job summary

Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (Suisse) SA (BIL Suisse) is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to manage discretionary portfolios for private banking clients and translate investment views into portfolio decisions. You will collaborate with Relationship Managers and Investment Solutions to deliver tailored investment solutions and contribute to expanding our Swiss offering.

You will oversee asset allocation, monitor risk and performance, and ensure compliance with Swiss regulations.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• CFA, CAIA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in discretionary portfolio management or a similar private banking role.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk management.
• Experience managing or supporting diversified multi-asset portfolios for private banking clients.
• Familiarity with Swiss regulatory requirements and international private banking clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage discretionary portfolios across asset classes, currencies and risk profiles in line with client mandates and investment guidelines.
• Implement strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions based on the bank's investment views.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures and investment suitability, ensuring disciplined portfolio construction.
• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities across a broad range of products and asset classes.
• Support Relationship Managers with portfolio reviews, investment proposals and client presentations.
• Participate in client meetings and communicate investment strategies and recommendations clearly.
• Contribute to development and enhancement of discretionary portfolio management offering and processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
