Job summary

ID Quantique, part of IonQ, seeks a Distinguished Leader to steer the post-quantum cryptography hardware acceleration programme. You will own end-to-end architecture from cryptographic algorithms to FPGA-based product architecture, with a clear path to ASIC, and set direction across cryptography, hardware, software and security disciplines.

You will define the system architecture for multi-algorithm PQC accelerator (ML-KEM, ML-DSA, SLH-DSA/LMS), drive make/buy and IP-licensing, and shape

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Cryptography, with 15+ years in security hardware design.
• Proven track record shipping market-defining security products and contributing to standards or patents.
• Experience taking accelerators or HSM-class systems from specification to production.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and microarchitecture of a PQC accelerator.
• Own algorithm and standards strategy and drive IP licensing decisions.
• Mentor senior engineers and represent the program to customers, standards bodies and executives.
