CTC Resourcing Solutions AG is partnering with a global life sciences leader to recruit a PMO Lead for a 12-month contract based in the Valais region. The role focuses on building governance frameworks, performance systems, and reporting structures to align strategy, projects and business value.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years in PMO/portfolio leadership, experience in Life Sciences or complex operations, and a proven ability to drive executive decision-making through data-driven

Qualificações

• 10+ years of PMO, portfolio or program leadership experience.
• Experience building or transforming PMOs, governance frameworks, and operating models.
• Experience in Life Sciences or similarly complex manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and enable executive decision-making.
• Excellent English; German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement the PMO Target Operating Model.
• Define PMO structure, capabilities, roles, and responsibilities.
• Lead planning, execution, and governance of the project portfolio.
• Establish portfolio intake, prioritization, and stage-gate processes.
• Implement RAID, change control, financial governance, and reporting.
• Establish portfolio KPIs, performance metrics, and reviews.
• Create forecasting and performance measurement frameworks.
• Define reporting architecture and data governance model.
• Assess business needs and advise on future PMO capabilities.
• Interface across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance.
• Ensure portfolio decisions are data-driven and value-based.

Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for a:

PMO Lead

on a 12-month contract, based in Valais region.

In this role, you’ll build governance frameworks, performance systems, and reporting structures to align strategy, projects, and business value.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and implement the PMO Target Operating Model.
• Define the appropriate PMO structure, capabilities, roles, and responsibilities.
• Lead the planning, execution, and governance of the project portfolio.
• Establish portfolio intake, prioritization, and stage-gate processes.
• Implement RAID, change control, financial control, and reporting processes.
• Establish portfolio KPIs, performance metrics, and management reviews.
• Create forecasting and performance measurement frameworks.
• Define the reporting architecture and data governance model.
• Assess business needs and recommend the optimal PMO setup.
• Define future-state PMO capabilities and resource requirements.
• Build effective interfaces across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance.
• Ensure portfolio decisions are supported by data, capacity, risk, and value assessments.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
• 10+ years' experience in PMO, Portfolio Management, Program Management, or Transformation Leadership, with a proven track record of establishing, building, or transforming PMO functions, including operating models, governance frameworks, and ways of working.
• Experience within Life Sciences, Pharma, Biotech, FMCG, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Engineering, or other complex operational environments.
• Strong portfolio and program management expertise, with experience governing complex project portfolios, facilitating executive decision-making, and driving delivery excellence across multiple workstreams.
• Extensive knowledge of project controls and performance management, including RAID management, change control, financial governance, KPI development, portfolio reporting, and performance tracking.
• Experience implementing PMO management systems, reporting frameworks, executive dashboards, and portfolio tools to support data-driven decision-making and provide a single source of truth.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders while working cross-functionally across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance.
• Proficient English required, German advantageous but not required.
