Gi Group, representing an international life sciences client in Basel, seeks a Senior Associate in Technical Services / Manufacturing Science (Packaging) to support externally manufactured products across the lifecycle.

The role requires advanced degree in Life Sciences or Engineering and 5–10 years in pharma/chemical manufacturing, with strong packaging, process validation, and transfer experience. Basel-based, on-site with international collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences or Engineering (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Packaging Engineering).
• 5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or related manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience in technical services, manufacturing science, or packaging technologies.

Aufgaben

• Provide expert knowledge in packaging processes, materials, and design.
• Represent Technical Services in cross-functional and joint process teams.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and global standards.
• Manage and support change control activities for assigned products.
• Oversee and review manufacturing documentation (SOPs, master batch records, process instructions).
• Prepare and contribute to technical reports, including process performance updates and project status.
• Participate in site visits to external manufacturing partners to assess capabilities and resolve technical issues.
• Establish and maintain appropriate control strategies for all assigned products.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis and process knowledge.
• Support APR/PQR preparation and review.
• Contribute to technical documentation for regulatory submissions, inspections, and audits.
• Lead or support product transfers, tech transfers, and new product introductions.
• Support investigations related to deviations, complaints, and process issues.
• Act as the primary technical contact for assigned external manufacturing partners.
