Gi Group is representing an international agricultural company seeking an experienced packaging specialist. The role focuses on supporting packaging development, regulatory alignment, and data management across multiple functions.

The candidate will lead cross-functional packaging initiatives, translate briefs into practical solutions, and ensure GMP-like standards for packaging processes while coordinating milestones with internal teams.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Packaging Engineering or equivalent qualification and/or relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of packaging development processes and industry-relevant packaging knowledge.
• Ideally 3–5 years of relevant industry experience.

Aufgaben

• Support packaging initiatives, portfolio screening, and packaging data management projects.
• Act as interface between Packaging Development and cross-functional stakeholders (SPS, Biologicals, Fill & Pack, testing).
• Coordinate project activities to ensure timely milestones.
• Translate design briefs into innovative, cost-effective, compliant packaging solutions using material knowledge and manufacturing technologies.
• Generate innovative packaging ideas, develop pilot concepts, and ensure compliance with regional legislation and dangerous goods transport requirements.
• Define packaging qualification protocols and execute qualification studies with Fill & Pack Engineers on packaging and filling activities.
• Create and maintain packaging master data throughout the product lifecycle; support continuous improvement of packaging data systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support innovation, quality, operational excellence, and successful project execution.

• Support Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation-related packaging initiatives, portfolio screening activities, and packaging data management projects.

Your Profile

• Degree (BSc, MSc or Diploma) in Packaging Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification and/or relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of packaging development processes and industry-relevant packaging knowledge.
• Ideally 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Successfully led packaging development projects.
• Experience in applying cross-functional stakeholder management at a local level.
• English C1 level; German beneficial.
