Bart & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Oracle Software Developer to join our DMAPS support team for the AFMC contract. The role focuses on Oracle PL/SQL, Java, and C++ development on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, within an Agile framework, collaborating with government stakeholders to sustain and enhance DMAPS applications.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in software/system design and development.
• Significant experience developing and supporting applications in Oracle database environments.

Aufgaben

• Perform software design, development, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and sustainment activities for DMAPS and related applications.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and SQL queries.
• Develop and maintain software applications and services using Java and C++.
• Work within an Agile SDLC, including sprint activities (2–3 weeks).
• Utilize sprint tracking and collaboration tools to communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Develop secure, reliable, and resilient software applications, including refactoring or re-hosting existing apps.
• Support design and development of system architectures that meet requirements.
• Troubleshoot Oracle DB environments and related services.
• Develop software for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Create Unix/Linux shell scripts and automation scripts as required.
• Use Git and version control practices for development and configuration management.
• Participate in software testing, debugging, code reviews and deployments.
• Support modernization, migration, and integration efforts.
