Zusammenfassung

UBP SA Geneva seeks an experienced Oracle-focused analyst/developer to design, implement, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL objects across ODS, Core Banking and client interfaces. You’ll work in a multi-timezone setup, ensure robust error handling and observability, and collaborate with onshore/offshore teams.

The role emphasizes production support, incident analysis, and documentation, including runbooks and API specifications.

Qualifikationen

• 7–15 years of experience as an Oracle-focused analyst/developer.
• Expert PL/SQL skills, including performance tuning and robust error handling.
• Proficiency with UNIX scripting (KornShell ksh or similar) for operational automation.
• Experience eliciting requirements and producing functional and technical specifications aligned with architecture standards.
• Hands-on experience operating and supporting production data platforms (deployments, incident response, stability and performance improvements).
• Proven collaboration with business analysts, architects, and development teams across regions and time zones.
• Familiarity with multi-region, multi-timezone batch processing strategies in banking or similar regulated domains.
• Ability to leverage AI as a productivity tool for documentation and development specifications.
• Strong understanding of secure software and data handling practices in financial services.

Aufgaben

• Participate in workshops to capture requirements and translate into design documents.
• Design, implement, and enhance Oracle PL/SQL objects for ODS and interfaces with emphasis on maintainability and observability.
• Create and modify UNIX KornShell scripts to orchestrate multi-timezone batch jobs and data workflows.
• Coordinate delivery with onshore and offshore teams and align with architectural guidelines.
• Maintain and improve existing database artifacts ensuring production stability.
• Communicate with adjacent systems to ensure end-to-end data integrity.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and manage go-lives.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Document APIs/interfaces and runbooks to build organizational knowledge.
