Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Senior Tax Manager to lead MedTech tax planning across a portfolio of strategic projects. The ideal candidate will be based in Zug, Switzerland or New Brunswick, NJ and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, tax-efficient outcomes.

The role requires 8+ years in corporate tax or advisory, strong knowledge of US and international tax, and proven ability to manage complex programs end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Taxation, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, tax planning, tax advisory, accounting, or finance.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and international tax, transfer pricing, tax accounting, financial statements, and statutory and tax books.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex cross-functional projects while managing priorities, dependencies, and risks.
• Strong analytical, communication, influencing, and business-partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax projects from planning to stabilization.
• Develop and manage tax workplans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables; drive issue resolution and clarify ownership and decision-making responsibilities.
• Coordinate tax diligence, modeling, approvals, and implementation across tax workstreams and stakeholders.
• Assess direct, indirect, international, legal entity, financial, and operational tax implications; translate into operating model requirements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on projects.
