Zusammenfassung

BBVA SA in Zürich is seeking a Senior Client Onboarding, KYC & KYT Officer to oversee onboarding, KYC, KYT and periodic reviews for a broad client base. You will ensure data quality, perform heightened due diligence and guide Front Office on regulatory matters.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of Swiss banking regulations, strong risk judgement and leadership in a high‑volume environment. Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifikationen

Minimum 7–10 years in onboarding, KYC, KYT and AML within private banking or wealth management.
Strong knowledge of FINMA expectations, AMLA/AMLO-FINMA, CDB, FATCA, CRS/AEI and QI requirements.
Experience with complex ownership structures, cross-border relationships and high-risk clients.

Aufgaben

Review and approve onboarding files for individuals and entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations.
Oversee KYC, KYT and periodic reviews, including enhanced due diligence for high‑risk clients.
Provide expert advice to Front Office on onboarding, KYC, AML and related matters.
Coordinate audit fieldwork and remediation actions with stakeholders.
Lead training to onboarding teams on documentation quality and risk-based judgement.
