Job summary

OWT in Geneva is seeking a Senior Java Developer with at least 5 years of Java development experience to join our AI-focused team. You will design, develop, and maintain complex applications, leverage Claude Code, and contribute to architecture decisions for large enterprise projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security).
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (React or equivalent).
• Genuine passion for AI with hands-on experimentation across LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with cloud solutions (Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Fluency in French and English (C1); German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex applications and systems using Claude Code and modern engineering practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions by proposing innovative technical solutions.
• Work in an agile environment and apply DevSecOps best practices.
• Support the Technical Team Lead in code reviews and writing of technical specifications.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
