Zusammenfassung

Bühler AG in Switzerland seeks a Senior Installation Supervisor to lead a team of technicians for large, complex projects (X-BU, type A). You will plan, prepare and execute installation supervision within the project scope.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent planning, and solid English communication to interact with customers and partners. You will report to the Site/Project Manager and drive safety, quality and timely delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree and 10 years of experience as Chief Installation Supervisor or equivalent.
• Technical and commercial knowledge across multiple disciplines.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Strong planning, organizing and priority setting skills.
• Proven ability to lead and manage installation teams.

Aufgaben

• Manage installation of large and complex projects and supervise technicians.
• Plan, prepare and execute installation activities per project scope.
• Monitor progress against the program and coordinate mitigations with Site/Project Manager.
• Conduct daily/weekly meetings with Bühler staff and subcontractors and report updates.
• Maintain intensive customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Senior Installation Supervisor

As a Senior Installation Supervisor at Bühler you are managing and leading a team of technician required for the installation of big and / or complex projects (X-BU, type A projects). You would be responsible for the planning, preparation and execution of the installation supervision, within scope of work associated to the assigned project. This is where you'll excel

• You get sure that the personnel assigned is fully acquainted with the site specific rules, safety regulations and environmental protection measures and that they perform their work accordingly as well as you perform installation according to the specifications and engineering documents, taking into account the safety instructions, environmental protection measures and local regulations
• You monitor progress of construction against the program, and take steps to ensure the program is achieved. You initiate as required mitigation/ preventive actions to achieve target program timely with the support of the Site Manager or Project Manager
• You conduct or attend daily and weekly meetings with Bühler staff and subcontractors, ensure that the Site Manager and the Project Manager receive regular information updates as well as correct behaviour and good teamwork within the installation and commissioning team in accordance with company policy and local requirements/ regulations
• You ensure proper reporting while identify, document and communicate any deviations from customer contract as well as you are responsible for maintaining an intensive customer relationship and a high level of customer satisfaction

These are the skills you'll need

• Engineering degree as well as 10 years of experience as Chief Installation Supervisor or proof of sufficient skills
• Technical and commercial knowledge covering multiple disciplines
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including the ability to interface effectively with people inside and outside of the company
• Strong planning, organising and priority setting skills, with a proven ability to manage teams
• Strong customer focus, sound judgment and decision making and problem solving skills
