Zusammenfassung

Laelaps is seeking a senior Infrastructure Engineer in Zurich to own cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and secure networking for a fleet of robots and operators. You will drive CI/CD, container orchestration, and edge management, while shaping observability and developer experience.

You will work across IaC, edge deployments, and security, delivering durable foundations and fast iteration for enterprise deployments. This is a critical early-stage hire.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• Deep experience with at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Solid networking and security fundamentals: VPNs, TLS, PKI, firewalls.
• CI/CD implementation experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Proficient in Python, Go, or similar systems languages.
• Track record building developer-facing platforms used by engineers.

Aufgaben

• Own cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines at startup scale.
• Implement secure networking between cloud, operators, and robots.
• Build reliable CI/CD pipelines for cloud services and on-robot software.
• Manage container orchestration and edge/runtime with Kubernetes/K3s.
• Oversee edge fleet management, OTA updates, and config management.
• Develop observability with logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards.
• Improve developer experience with local environments and tooling.
• Ensure security/compliance foundations for enterprise customers.
