Open Systems is seeking a System Engineer to join the Secure Fleet Platform team in Zurich/Bern, focusing on secure operational foundations for a fleet of ~10,000 systems. Qualifikationen

• Solid Linux and systems troubleshooting experience.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, SSH and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with authentication, authorisation, privileged access, VPN or remote-access workflows.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and operate secure management access for production systems.
• Develop resilient, auditable access paths and related controls for fleet operations.
• Improve resilience, traceability, and operational safety of privileged access.
• Collaborate with security, platform, and operations teams to ensure architectures work in normal and incident conditions.
• Migrate existing workflows to new access architecture with careful rollback and continuity considerations.
• Engineer connectivity patterns between central platform services and distributed Linux hosts to support ~10,000-system fleet.
