Enova in Lausanne, Switzerland, seeks a Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer to lead complex embedded hardware development for satellite communication systems. You will own hardware architecture, schematic design, PCB stack-ups, and validation, collaborating with Systems, FPGA, RF, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust, manufacturable products.

Hybrid work is available. The role requires a strong electronics background, CAD with Altium, and experience in regulated aerospace

Qualifikationen

• Master's or engineering degree in Electronics or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in hardware electronics design.
• Proven experience owning the complete development of complex electronic boards.
• Strong background in analog and digital electronics.
• Excellent knowledge of Altium Designer.
• Experience defining PCB stack-ups and routing rules.
• Solid experience in hardware validation, debugging, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Knowledge of switching power supplies (Buck, Flyback, LLC, etc.).
• Experience working with FPGA-based hardware integration (HDL development not required).
• Understanding of EMI/EMC constraints.
• Experience in Aerospace, Space, Defense, or other highly regulated industries is a strong advantage.
• RF experience is considered a plus but is not mandatory.

In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of complex embedded electronic hardware used in cutting‑edge communication systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Systems, FPGA, RF, Mechanical, Thermal, and Manufacturing Engineers to deliver innovative, high‑reliability products that meet demanding industry standards.

Responsibilities

Hardware Design

• Define the hardware architecture of complex electronic boards.
