Job summary

PAVE Space SA is building groundbreaking ground support equipment for IBEX and LYOBA, and you will own GSE from blank page to hardware standing beside the vehicle. This role entails make-or-buy decisions, defining requirements, and coordinating supplier contracts, ensuring tight mechanical and fluid interfaces between GSE and the launch vehicles.

You will work across our facilities and at partner launch sites, following each provider's safety rules, while managing budgets and schedules to meet

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems engineering applied to GSE work.
• GSE you've worked on has flown hardware.
• You've lived at least one launch campaign on site.
• Working knowledge of SSCMAN, ECSS, and launcher user manuals across providers.
• You've run make-or-buy decisions and managed suppliers through to delivery.
• Fluent English; French, EGSE experience, or leading a small engineering team is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own GSE from concept to delivered hardware for IBEX and LYOBA (AIT and Flight GSE).
• Make-or-buy trade-offs and for everything we buy: requirements, supplier selection, and contracts.
• Mechanical and fluid interfaces between GSE and the vehicles, including customer payloads on LYOBA.
• GSE that works both in our facilities and at different launch providers' sites, compliant with each range's safety rules.
• Transport containers, plus the load and proof testing that certifies lifting and fluid equipment.
• The GSE budget and schedule.
