Job summary

PAVE Space SA is seeking a senior systems engineer to own the architecture for LYOBA and IBEX, ensuring end-to-end traceability from mission needs to subsystem specs. You will drive interfaces with launcher providers, payload customers and the ground segment, while coordinating V&V strategies and risk management.

You will bring 10+ years on large space programmes, and hands-on artillery-like involvement with architecture diagrams, V&V matrices, and ECSS/NASA standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive systems engineering on large space programmes.
• English fluency throughout work and reviews.
• Knowledge of ECSS or NASA standards; when to depart from them.

Responsibilities

• Own system architecture and technical baseline for LYOBA and IBEX.
• Define requirements baseline and end-to-end traceability from mission needs to subsystems.
• Develop interfaces with launcher, spacecraft, payloads, and ground segment.
• Define V&V strategy and qualification path for each vehicle.
• Maintain system-level risk register and mitigation plans.
