Job summary

PAVE Space SA. seeks a seasoned GSE Systems Engineer to own ground support equipment from concept to delivered hardware for IBEX and LYOBA campaigns.

You will ensure mechanical and fluid interfaces, supplier management, and buy/make decisions, with on-site work in Villeneuve (VD) and occasional travel. The role requires 5+ years in GSE-focused systems engineering, hands-on launch campaign experience, and fluent English; French or EGSE exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems engineering applied to GSE work.
• GSE you've worked on has supported hardware that actually flew.
• You've lived at least one launch campaign on site.
• Working knowledge of SSCMAN, ECSS, and launcher user manuals across different providers.
• You've run make-or-buy decisions and managed suppliers through to delivery.
• Fluent English (our working language).
• Nice to have: French, EGSE experience, or having led a small engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Own GSE from concept to delivered hardware.
• Make or buy trade-offs, and manage supplier selection and contracts.
• Define and manage mechanical and fluid interfaces between GSE and vehicles, including payloads.
• Ensure GSE works across company facilities and provider sites, compliant with safety rules.
• Oversee transport containers, load testing, and certification processes.
• Manage the GSE budget and schedule.
