Job summary

PAVE Space SA. is building LYOBA, a heavy kick stage capable of delivering 4-tonne payloads from LEO to high-energy orbits within 24 hours.

We are expanding the systems engineering function to cover both LYOBA and IBEX, and looking for engineers who can contribute across architecture, interfaces, and verification. You will own the system architecture, decompose mission needs into subsystem requirements, manage interfaces, and define the V&V strategy and risk retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in aerospace engineering with real SE exposure on a hardware program that shipped or flew.
• Experience with high-dV or propulsion-driven spacecraft architectures.
• Decomposed system-level needs into subsystem requirements and traced them through verification.
• Knowledge of qualification and acceptance testing standards (ECSS, GEVS, MIL-STD, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Own system architecture and technical baseline for LYOBA and IBEX.
• Decompose requirements and ensure traceability to subsystem specs.
• Manage interfaces across subsystems and with launchers and customer payloads.
• Define and implement V&V strategy and qualification path.
• Maintain a system-level risk register and retirement planning.
• Prepare technical content for review gates.
