Job summary

Julius Baer is seeking an experienced Events & Conferences professional based in Zurich-Altstetten to advise, develop, and execute internal and external events and conferences. You will support the bank’s strategy with cross-divisional collaboration on national and international projects.

You will manage concept development, budgeting, vendor supervision, and post-event analysis, while updating global templates and providing team-wide administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of event, project management and/or marketing experience.
• Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual planning, organization and execution of internal and external events and conferences.
• Manage budgets, contracts, invoicing and vendor supervision.
• Support in detailed planning, realization, and execution of events platforms and templates/guidelines.
• Provide general admin support for team and head of the Global Events & Conferences Team.

The Julius Baer Global Events & Conferences Team, based in Zurich-Altstetten, seeks a highly motivated and experienced team player to take a role in advising, developing, and executing all aspects related to internal and external events and conferences, supporting the bank’s group strategy, objectives, and purpose. The role allows cross-divisional interactions when collaborating on the bank’s group-wide projects, for both national and international level.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Responsible for conceptual planning, organization and execution of multiple exclusive internal and external events, conferences, workshops, incl. post-event activities, analysis, and reporting Ensuring smooth communication with all concerned stakeholders Contract and budget management, and invoicing Supervision of support staff, vendors, and service providers Support and consult in the detailed planning, realization, and execution of various events platforms Responsible for updating templates, guidelines, DISCLAIMERS as well as the global event application General support and admin tasks for team colleagues and team head.

YOUR PROFILE

At least 5 years of event, project management and/or marketing experience Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task effectively and keeping strong attention to details Reliable, dedicated, and self-motivated team player, not afraid of being hands-on, willing to go the extra mile and the ability to remain level-headed when under pressure Thinks ahead, is result oriented and is a problem-solving, reliable person Future focused identifying new event formats, trends and embraces change to create new opportunities, to optimize and increase efficiency Client-focused, service-oriented, and flexible personality with high social competence and excellent communication skills in German and English (any other language as added value) Professional user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as affinity for digital event solutions and technical marketing tools.
