Zusammenfassung

Sygnum in Zürich seeks an experienced Engineering Leader to guide six teams through Tech Leads, delivering software with high quality and security in a regulated financial environment. You will empower teams, set hiring and performance standards, and partner with Product, Operations, Security, and Architecture to align delivery with business goals.

You will drive AI adoption, leveraging Claude Code to deepen integration across the delivery cycle while upholding stringent security and compliance

About the role You'll lead 6 engineering teams through their Tech Leads, delivering software with high quality and security in a regulated financial environment. Your impact comes through your Tech Leads, not around them. Your job is to create the conditions where teams thrive, take ownership, and continuously improve.

• Building high-performing teams that stay focused on their goals and deliver consistent value to our clients
• Ensuring alignment and transparency across teams so they can act with autonomy without drifting apart
• Connecting engineering execution to user impact and business outcomes through close partnership with Product, Operations, Security, and Architecture
• Driving engineering excellence with a relentless focus on quality and security, building products that earn and strengthen our clients' trust
• Cultivating a psychologically safe environment where people challenge, experiment, and improve
• Owning hiring, headcount planning, and performance management across your scope
• Holding accountability for delivery commitments, operational health, and incident response across your teams
• Driving AI adoption: we've already rolled out Claude Code, and you'll enable your teams to deepen its integration across the delivery cycle while upholding our security, compliance standards and support them with the cultural change

• You've led multiple engineering teams and can point to how delivery and team health improved on your watch
• You take real pride in growing leaders. Your Tech Leads and engineers have become more capable and more autonomous because of how you coach them
• You take performance management seriously. You have honest conversations early, develop people deliberately, and build retention through growth
