Job summary

SWISSto12, a leading aerospace innovator, seeks an EGSE Engineer to design and specify EGSE architectures and associated equipment. You will manage suppliers, drive test plans, and contribute to system documentation for GEo/SatELLITE projects. English required; French a plus.

This on-site role supports cutting-edge space hardware development in Switzerland. You will lead integration and commissioning activities, prepare maintenance plans, and train staff to ensure seamless operation across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field (telecommunications, electrical, aerospace).
• Experience in EGSE design, specification and procurement.
• Experience in EGSE integration, commissioning and maintenance.
• Awareness of ECSS/CCSDS standards.

Responsibilities

• Design or specify EGSE architecture and equipment (Power, RF) aligned with SWISSto12 needs and customer requirements.
• Manage EGSE suppliers from specification through FAT and delivery.
• Produce EGSE project documentation (design reports, user manuals, test procedures).
• Contribute to system-level project documentation (AIT Plan, test specs, configuration files).
• Perform EGSE integration and commissioning prior to AIV/AIT activities.
• Provide EGSE training and organize periodic maintenance and calibration of EGSE racks.
