Job summary

Expleo Group in Lausanne seeks an experienced Test Bench (EGSE) Engineer to lead development, integration, and delivery of EGSE hardware and software for AIT activities in space programs. You will coordinate across stakeholders and ensure compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in EGSE/test bench for space programs, fluency in English (French a plus), and strong knowledge of Python, LabVIEW, C/C++, Linux, and ECSS standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Automation, or Embedded Systems.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Test Bench and EGSE development within space, aerospace, or defense sectors.
• Experience working on space or satellite programs.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards.
• Good understanding of electrical, electronic, or software systems associated with test equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of software languages and environments (Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, Linux, Git).
• Knowledge of space communication protocols (SpaceWire, CAN Bus, RS-422 / RS-485, CCSDS).

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and deliver Test Bench (EGSE) equipment required for Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) activities.
• Coordinate technical activities between the various project stakeholders.
• Ensure equipment compliance with technical, quality, and safety requirements.
• Manage suppliers and subcontractors involved in the development of EGSE solutions.

Your Mission

You will play a key role in the development, integration, and delivery of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). You will contribute to the success of Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) activities by ensuring the performance, compliance, and availability of equipment throughout the lifecycle of space programs.
