SWISSto12 is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager based in Renens to lead strategic and project procurement for critical satellite hardware and EEE components. Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in procurement in complex technical environments.
• Background in electrical/electronic/electromechanical components and high-reliability industries.
• Experience with EEE component procurement: lead times, qualification, screening, traceability, obsolescence, reliability.
• Experience managing supplier relationships in aerospace/space or related sectors.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronic/Aerospace Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for EEE components, modules, materials, and services for satellite/RF products.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, product assurance, legal, and finance to translate needs into sourcing strategies.
• Support supplier selection, RFQs, bid evaluation, negotiation, PO placement, and subcontract follow-up.
• Advise on make-or-buy decisions with clear sourcing recommendations considering tech capability, cost, lead time, risk, and quality.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers in line with project milestones and space industry requirements.
• Track procurements, communicate status and risks to stakeholders, and drive recovery actions if issues arise.
• Develop relationships with strategic suppliers and assess capabilities and partnerships.
• Mitigate supply-chain risks from obsolescence, long lead times, and single-source dependencies.
• Maintain procurement records and reporting per internal processes and audits.
