Merkle, a dentsu company, in Switzerland is seeking a Lead DXP Engineer to design, develop and implement high-performance applications with a focus on scalability, security and performance. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust digital experiences.

You will lead backend Java development, oversee code reviews and contribute to automated testing and build pipelines, while working in a hybrid setup in St Gallen. Fluent German and English are required.

Qualifikationen

• Completed degree in computer science or equivalent qualifications.
• Several years of professional Java backend experience in web environments.
• Experience with code reviews and agile methods such as Scrum.
• Experience developing data-driven applications using Java, Spring Boot and SQL; frontends in TypeScript or Vaadin.
• Experience CMS Magnolia or AEM.
• Strong software design quality and clear communication of complex topics.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards and best practices.
