Job summary

Lonza in Switzerland seeks a Manufacturing Transformation Lead (Director level) to translate evolving roadmaps from Integrated Biologics, Advanced Synthesis and Specialized Modalities into scalable future manufacturing concepts.

You will collaborate with Platforms, R&D and Strategic Innovation to define how processes should be manufactured, automated and operated, aiming for reduced manual intervention and touchless operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to translate science and process roadmaps into integrated future manufacturing concepts.
• Strong GMP and regulatory knowledge.
• Proven cross-functional leadership across sites and platforms.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to optimize unit costs and productivity across manufacturing networks.

Responsibilities

• Translate roadmaps into future manufacturing concepts, operating requirements and cost implications.
• Lead pilots and drive unit-cost diagnostics and value-driven design.
• Coordinate platform, site and functional resources.
• Ensure integration of solutions from multiple workstreams into coherent concepts.
