Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Schaffhausen seeks a Principal Engineer, Device & Packaging Technical Launch Integrator (TLI) to lead device assembly, packaging and transfer activities for new product introductions. You will lead cross-functional teams across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing to translate product requirements into robust manufacturing solutions.

You will drive design transfer, industrialization, validation, and launch readiness, shaping technical transfer

Qualifications

Must have hands-on experience with device packaging and manufacturing processes.
Strong track record leading technical projects from initiation to launch.
Knowledge of regulatory and quality system requirements (Design Control, Validation).

Responsibilities

Act as the MSAT Device & Packaging technical lead for new product introductions and technology transfer projects.
Lead global and local cross-functional teams; coordinate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing.
Drive design transfer, industrialization, qualification, and process validation for device assembly and packaging.
Ensure robust specifications, controls, and compliance for device components and packaging materials.
Lead risk management, problem-solving, and project governance throughout transfer and launch.
Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of launch milestones.
