Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Principal Engineer, Device & Packaging Technical Launch Integrator (TLI) to lead the transfer, industrialization, validation, and launch of device and packaging solutions for commercial products. This role manages cross-functional teams across R&D, Supply Chain, and regulatory to ensure robust, compliant manufacturing at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in device, packaging, manufacturing, engineering, tech transfer, project management, or R&D.
• Experience leading complex technical projects in a global, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the MSAT Device & Packaging technical lead for NPI and technology transfer projects.
• Lead global and local cross-functional project teams and represent MSAT Device & Packaging in value chain and project development teams.
• Provide technical leadership across device assembly, secondary packaging, labeling/artwork interfaces, and related manufacturing processes.
• Partner with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, Procurement, manufacturing sites, and external suppliers to translate requirements into robust manufacturing solutions.
• Lead design transfer, industrialization, qualification, and validation of device/packaging solutions at commercial scale.
• Drive device & packaging readiness from initiation through PPQ/validation and launch; ensure timely, compliant deliverables.
