Job summary

Keyrock is seeking an experienced data engineer to join the Central Data Team. You’ll build streaming and batch pipelines, design lakehouse layers, and own data contracts to enable real-time decision making across trading desks and wealth management.

You’ll implement self-serve data tooling, ensure data quality, and collaborate with Architecture and Platform teams. Remote-first, with global collaboration and ongoing onsite events.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years building production data systems relied upon by others.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; ability to reason about engine behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Build streaming and batch pipelines ingesting market, trading, and portfolio data.
• Create self-serve tooling (SDKs, templates) for data product publishing and consumption.
• Own data contracts and schema evolution to avoid multi-team coordination issues.
• Design lakehouse and time-series layers for efficient querying.
• Develop Data Governance and Data Quality Frameworks.
• Deliver analytics for desks, wealth, and asset management; ensure observability and cost efficiency.
• Treat infrastructure as code (Docker, Terraform, CI/CD) and collaborate with central infra.
• Work openly and partner with Architecture, Infrastructure, Platform and other teams.
