COFCO International is seeking a focused Credit Risk Analyst to independently assess and monitor counterparty risk across its origination operations in Central Europe and the Balkans. You will evaluate financial performance, country risk indicators, crop forecasts, and weather scenarios to determine creditworthiness.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or CFA.
• In-depth analysis of financial statements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Language Proficiency: English, Romanian is a plus.
• Experience with CVA, PFE, credit risk netting and credit systems is desirable.
• Credit insurance knowledge is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Perform hands-on credit analysis of trading counterparties and monitor industry news and alerts with potential impact on credit portfolios.
• Manage credit approval process with timely justification.
• Set up internal credit ratings and credit limits and conduct periodic reviews.
• Ensure counterparty risk is managed and controlled according to policies and appetite.
• Maintain watchlists and communicate in line with group requirements.
• Maintain No Trading list and communicate per group requirements.
• Report breaches to Credit Policy in line with group requirements.
• Review and report credit exposure regularly.
• Provide trading desks with guidelines to ensure policy compliance.
• Provide leadership to regional credit risk management.
• Collaborate with credit risk teams in headquarter and other regions.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency of processes and controls.
• Support the risk department on projects as assigned.
