Job summary

Wyden Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer in Zurich to own AWS architecture for Run environments, drive IaC and CI/CD across multiple production setups, and lead a junior SRE.

This senior technical role partners with the CTO and Head of Run to shape scalable, secure infrastructure for a growing bank-grade customer base. You will design multi-tenant patterns, automate deployments, and build observability with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch.

Qualifications

• Proven production-depth AWS expertise across full stack: EKS, Aurora/RDS, VPCs, IAM, S3, CloudWatch.
• Senior Infrastructure as Code experience: Terraform and Terragrunt in production.
• CI/CD pipeline design and ownership: GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline.
• Kubernetes operations at depth: EKS cluster design and multi-tenant environments.
• Strong scripting/automation: Python, Bash; build tooling not just scripts.
• Observability stack ownership: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch.

Responsibilities

• Own AWS architecture for all Wyden customer environments, ensuring scalability, security, cost-efficiency, and maintainability.
• Design and govern infrastructure patterns for Run team and junior SRE; lead architecture reviews with CTO.
• Own IaC for all deployments; create reusable, version-controlled Terraform/Terragrunt modules.
• Build and own CI/CD pipelines for infra and app deployment; implement automated gates and rollback.
• Design full observability stack; create reusable monitoring templates across environments.
• Lead deployment execution for releases and upgrades; develop standard runbooks for safety.
