Zusammenfassung

LocalStack, headquartered in Zurich, is seeking a Cloud Engineer/SRE/DevOps to design, implement, and operate scalable cloud solutions for customers worldwide. You will work on cost efficiency, performance, and container workloads using k8s, MicroVMs, and modern IaC.

Bring 6 years in cloud engineering or similar, plus 5 years in AWS and Linux. Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI) is essential, along with Python/Go/Ruby.

Qualifikationen

• 6 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer/SRE/DevOps/DevSecOps/Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
• 5 years of experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, CloudFront).
• 5 years of experience with Linux.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
• 3 years of experience with AWS containerized services (ECS, EKS, Fargate) and container tools (Docker, Helm, ArgoCD).
• Strong background in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Programming experience in Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Experience across Azure, Snowflake, GCP and other clouds (beneficial).

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions for customers.
• Optimize for cost efficiency and performance
• Deploy and manage workloads using the best fit containerization technology for the job (e.g. k8s, MicroVMs)
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation (develop Chef cookbooks, automation scripts and tools)
