Zusammenfassung

Open Systems in Zürich is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Edge Cloud team. You will build and maintain virtual test platforms and cloud provisioning workflows powering our SASE edge deployments, operating in a small, entrepreneurial team that values curiosity and initiative.

Your core responsibilities include developing in-house testing platforms and IaC pipelines for Azure and GCP, with a focus on automation and secure connectivity.

Qualifikationen

• Solid academic foundation in computer science or systems engineering.
• Curious and eager to learn, comfortable asking questions.
• Foundational scripting/programming knowledge (Python/Go).
• Familiarity with Linux and command-line usage; Git and collaborative workflows.
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).

Aufgaben

• Lean Development: build MVPs and iterate with users.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling while maintaining code quality and craftsmanship.
• Customer-focused mindset: anticipate needs and consider internal impact.
